What is the Lost Hours Walk?
CALM's Lost Hours Walk is back, and this year you can walk against suicide wherever you are in the country. We’re coming together from every corner of the UK to deal with grief differently and defiantly, and to remember our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, partners and friends.
Create your own 3, 13 or 26 mile Lost Hours Walk route and join hundreds of others as we walk against struggling in silence, against being alone, against living miserably.
125 people take their own lives every single week in the UK. We’re walking to send a message that that’s not ok. This October, join us as we walk forward, together against suicide with our communities, family and friends. It’s not about the hours walked or the money raised, it’s about uniting to smash the silence around suicide in the UK.
It’s time to Walk Against Suicide.
The walk has brought out some more emotions. I feel like it has helped bring out some of my grief but also that I've laid down some of the grief on streets in a city my husband loved.

How do I choose my route?
This bit might feel like a big deal, but it doesn’t have to be. We chose a route that was either 10 miles or 20 miles through Central London, but you can do what feels right for you.

How do I get started with Fundraising?
We’ll help you raise whatever you can, but don’t worry there's no minimum target. When you register for the walk, you’ll also create a fundraising page that you can share with friends and family to ask for donations and we’ll be sending you loads of ideas and tips on fundraising after you register.
