Hoping to raise some pennies for CALM in memory of Paul
As you know this is something very close to my heart as 4 years ago we said goodbye to Paul.
So, to try give a little something back, to help CALM with their ongoing, amazing support network for those in dark times, I’m taking on ‘the lost hours walk’
On Oct 4th 2020, I will be walking from Burnham on Crouch to Bradwell Marina along the sea wall (15 miles). I’ve chosen this route, as Paul and I used to walk this with Ollie, and to challenge myself, to go back to face & revisit old & happy memories...of course with Ollie by my side.
ObvIouy not sure what will be allowed (with COVID rules or if you care) but if we can and anyone would like to meet me at Bradwell Marina for a “cheeky vino” in memory of Paul 🐒 I’ll be glad to see some friendly faces.
So here’s the cheeky bit...
I appreciate we are all in such a difficult climate, but if you have donations that you can spare, to help out those that life is even darker for, to help support & brighten their days I would be SO grateful....

The geeky stats if you're interested...
On average, 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK. Its creeping up through COVID
75% of people who take their own lives are not known to mental health services or have not been in touch with mental health services within the last year.
Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM’s free, anonymous and confidential helpline and webchat are there for anyone who needs support. They’re open from 5pm-midnight every day. Just £8 is enough to fund a professionally-trained helpline worker to answer a call that could save a life. Your support will help fund CALM’s life-saving services when they’re needed most.
