The Lost Hours Walk - We are walking against suicide.

To raise money for CALM we are going to walk 26.2 miles over 24 hours starting on Saturday 24th October.

Would you like to join us for an hour or more?

We will walk 1.1 miles on the hour, every hour, for 24 hours.

If you would like to take part for some or all of this walk, please follow the link to join our team & get in touch with Laura or Lyddi.

Here’s why we're doing it:

On average, 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK.

75% of people who take their own lives are not known to mental health services or have not been in touch with mental health services within the last year.

135 people are directly affected by every suicide.

We’re coming together across the country to send a message that that’s not ok. We’re taking to the streets, parks, pavements, public footpaths and promenades to walk against struggling in silence, against being alone, against living miserably.

This October we're taking on the Lost Hours Walk to deal with grief differently and defiantly, and to remember our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, partners and friends lost to suicide.

Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM’s free, anonymous and confidential helpline and webchat are there for anyone who needs support. They’re open from 5pm-midnight every day. Just £8 is enough to fund a professionally-trained helpline worker to answer a call that could save a life. Your support will help fund CALM’s life-saving services when they’re needed most.
